When installing the Vitality release 1.4.0.3 update, a Windows pops up at the end stating a windows media file being installed is older then the current one. It recommended NOT replacing it. So of course I didnt, but I was curious if I should have actually done the opposite and installed the one contained in the update?

I havent had a chance to actually play x3 yet to see if any media issues have arrised yet, but I am curious whether I did the right thing or not?

if you encounter any problems, just find the latest windows media codecs on microsoft's site and update and overwrite everything
problem fixed
