So you still have to void the warranty right?
http://www.clevermod.com/index.php?article=24
I managed to do everything the article describes, but it doesnt tell me everything I think I should know. I've opened the locks in the back and removed the face plate so far, so I dont know where else to begin and if I absolutely must void the warranty, how does having it "unmarked" make it ok? Does unmarked still mean voiding the warranty?
Sorry to bother everyone with my questions, but im certain this question has crossed people's minds before. Thanks in advance = )

Seems all unmarked means is it doesn't have marks on it from you opening it.
"XBox 360's are expensive and I like to keep things unmarked/scuffed when I open them up, here's how!"
Doesn't seem like there are any indicators that this doesn't void the warranty.

Remove the hard drive (if you have one) then remove the grey panel underneath it by sticking a small metal screwdriver or simmilar to release the tabs. there are 6 IIRC then it should live free, do the same at the other end grey panel, you have to remove one of the rubber feet to gain access to release the last tab.
after you release the back using the guide you read you also have to release the front clips, then take out 6 of the silver torx screws.
You will still void the warranty as there is a silver microsoft sticker over the front of the case (under the front removable facia) and also one on the dvd drive if you try to remove that also.
Hope that helps.
