I burnt it with CloneCD with a Verbatim +R DL, and the game runs fine but if I let the intro play out completely it starts skipping. Anyone else have this problem??? I wonder what it could be?

I burnt at slowest speed, 2 dvd's, two firmware xbox's...

2.4x is the best speed. I think your verbatims are just some fakes lol... cuz the game works perfect for me

Hitachi or samsung drive?
Hitachi is very very picky about both burner and media it seems, or the firmware just have bugs (1.0 and 1.1 for hitachi-lg that is)

I have a hitachi drive, it refused to work with discs burned using a sony burner even with the bitsetting correctly set. In the end I purchased a pioneer 111d which is awesome and makes perfect backups of my games.
For the record my hitachi seems to like Tuff Disc 8.5GB 2.4x media
