Im in the beta, and its freaking amazing for a beta.
This will no doubt be the stategy game of the year.
The single best thing for me is the sound, all the sound effects are great. (like in Warhammer: DOW) and if you'r teammate is battling on the other side of the map you can hear deep thunder like sounds from explosions and such. Not the usual pre recorded battle sounds.
Also the physics are nice, but seen before in Soldiers: Heroes of World War II. At this stage, the physics are worse than Soldiers imo. (the buildings dont crash in any cool way or anything)
But its defaintly nice to see a soldier gets his arms, legs and torso blown apart and thrown 50feet in to the air from a fell placed hit from a tiger tank.

How is the AI of the soldiers? Is it all revolutionary like they say? Do they listen to you well enough? Or do you give them orders and they take over too much?
Its good, but not revolutionary right now (still 2month left before release)
Basiclly the good ai means they will find cover themself.
So if you tell them to move to point A they will go to that point, and try to be in cover as much as they can like moveing from wall, to a burned out car, to a fence etc.
There are 3 types of cover in the game, red (no cover, open area) yellow (light cover, sandbags, fences) and green (hard cover, walls, behind tanks)
And you can move them into a cover manually, you see little red-yellow or green dots on the ground, kinda like Spectrum Warrior.

imho its pretty realistic; units dont "magically heal", you'll have to get them to your triage tent for them to heal up. And i guess its rather realistic that they dont get hit with every shot, a unit being fired upon in open terrain will be vanquished real fast while you can endure for a long time if youre protected by heavy cover... other than that i do think every unit has certain stats, varies depending on wether the target is a vehicle/structure/infantry unit
