Alright this is driving me crazy, if I have an image with some white in it, how do I export that image to .png and have all the white exported as transparent?
I have both inkscape and gimp, and I can't figure it out, it's driving me crazy.. any help please.

Convert it to PNG then delete the white.. If you simply save it as PNG the white will be retained, you need to remove it when the image is already able to process transparency.. Not sure how to go about it in the applications, but lets hope this at least leads you down the right path.

Lol, thanks man I'll try that... I just want to remove the damn white that's in the picture...
I know in like, if you go to .gif you can manually select a color to set as transparent when you export...
Maybe I'll do that, then convert to .png? bah, freakin' image editing....
