I'm currently using VirtualDubMod to cut away the intro themes of Star Trek Voyager so I can fit 13 Episodes on one DVD.
Although it does work I'm not really happy with it...
The cuts are not clean enough, for example I set selection start at frame 2940 (the black screen before the intro) and then set selection end at frame 4768 (the black screen after the intro) and then remove the selection. It should be perfect now but it isnt..instead of jumping right from frame 2939 to 4769 and thus skipping the intro the edited video reverts back and shows ~500ms of the end of the intro theme, while the audio is playing normally. After those 500ms the video jumps forward and syncs with the Audio again.
I also get the same problems when cutting and appending segments of movies, at the point of the append it always jumps back for a moment and shows the same short scene twice.
Annoying...please help.
