ok, weird problem here. was playing it all day yesterday, even with the funky jap. control thing, but thats not my issue now. when i tried to start it up this morning (using asr which worked yesterday lots of times) nothing happens for about 2 minutes, just the spinning cd icon and then i get a messagebox saying "unable to authenticate original disc within the time limit". any ideas whats going on here? i didnt install anything new or did any other changes to my system since i played it yesterday...

found a solution myself. just ran curesecurom to delete all securom registry entries. fixed the problem, game starts with asr again...can be closed now...

Same problem, but I haven't managed to get it to run yet. '' original disc could not be found or autheticated''. Using DT4 and Securomloader 1.2. Tried curesecurom too but same problem Sad

use asr, on most sites its called "securom loader 1.2" but the exe is named asr.exe

do you have the image mounted or burnt? i use it mounted in DT. also make sure your cd/dvd drives are empty. if i have other discs in i get the error sometimes as well

Have it mounted in DT4, both dvd drives are empty. Tried curerom too but thats no go too. Guess i'll just have to wait for a crack to appear Sad

download CureSecuRom from their website (just google it, its just a forum, but the download links are in there)

must be a conflict then. got any other emulation software installed besides DT? alcohol maybe?

can anybody play it with an 5200fx? Smile i managaed to get ingam a few times, but it always crashes to desktop when movies start(it becomes non responding, two differentwindows of dmc pop up. second is named "active movie" ar smth like it. i think it can be because of win player 11 beta. does anybody use it and have this problem?

damn ace, that was the problem, had to uninstall it, cause it crashed the game. now i can play it.

The problem is not Alcohol because I can play the game,while Alcohol is installed on my system.
Did you placed securom loader 1.2 in the directory of the game?
And then run the asr.exe and klik the game exe?

it doesnt matter if its in the same dir. hell i dont even have are on the same drive and it runs fine.
