This may sound like a dumb question, but I can't get a definative answer outta my friends. I have 3 fans installed on my PC....1 in the front sucking air in, 1 in the back blowing air out, and one on the side. How should the side fan be set up?...Thanks in advance...

Usually you try to get a good airflow inside the case. Front low to rear back is the typical one. When you have bit of a underpressure in the case (more fans blowing out) it's slightly cooler, BUT also collects all the dust. Overpressure on the other hand is warmer solution, but not so dusty one. Happy medium would be to have same amount of intake and exhaust fans (also counting in CFM values)

Now you got 2 out (rear and PSU) and 2 in (front & side), so it quite balanced, as long as you keep it suckin air in. Would be quite stupid to put it blow air out, as it would blow out all the cool air that front intake brings.

I've got 2 intake in front, one exthaust in rear and on top, PSU fan, CPU fan, GPU fan and a chipset fan. Don't think I want a side one as well x) (all @ low rmp, or undervolted, don't want loud of course Razz)

I currently have
2x120mm in the front blowing air into the case
1x92mm on the side blowing in air
1x80mm top of chassi blowing air out
1x120mm sucking out air in the rear
2x80mm in the lower back sucking out air

and then ofc the PSU makes sure there's some circulation. It all sums up in creating a very good airflow as all of the fans are very silent. I can barely hear them and on the other hand my gfx sounds more so...

Wow, that is pretty overkill on fans. As long as you got a good case you will never need that many. I got one in the front blowing air in, and one in the back sucking air out. That's all I need, both CPU and Mobo runs at 35C.
