I want to enter cheats in oblivion but when i go to a cheat web site it doesnt tell me how to edit the game so i could enter the cheats, all it says do is hit the ~ button and enter the codename. But when i hit the ~ key nothing happins. Could someone please tell me how to enter cheats?

when you press ~ the console should show up in the bottom as a blinking cursor.
fuck linux.

i am pressing that key but nothing happins. I am using the oblivion verson 1.1 i just updated it to the newest verson

I have a pretty good guess what you forgot to do, but as I consider using cheats rather lame, I'm not going to bother. *shrug*
