nah, graphics card is fine, and i have the latest dx (april '06) and nvidia (91.28 i think it is). another guy had this problem, he fixed it by turning off this ingame 'hardware shadow mapping' which i also disabled, but no fix.

as you can see in that picture, i have a graphical error. i don't know whats causing it, because the last time i played with the same graphics (they're turned down now...)it looked fine. help?
and my specs for the record:
amd athlon 64bit 3700+ 2.4ghz
1 gb ram
6600gt 128mb
since i made that post on another forum, i've played with the graphics here and there and i'm at a loss. what could be causing this? :\ | Do you have HDR on? If you do, make sure AA is applications controlled in your global and game driver settings.

yep its application controlled, I just tried disabling hdr, putting on AA (made it way worse) and different resolutions etc... i can't fix this shit. | Did you try turning off both? That looks like an HDR or AA error to me. Or it could be your gfx card is fooked but I highly doubt that. Is the entire sky gone? Or just areas aound objects?

it just happens to certain things and some things around them (if one of the badguys goes near it it happens around them, too). and i did try both off, i tried hdr on, turned it off then left aa off, then turned on AA and that just made it worse.

Good luck o.o

i have the same problem as you, using 84.25 drivers on the 6600gt 128mb
only dif is i only have a axp 2800+
weird thing is it only does that when looking from certain angles, take 2 steps foward and rotate the camera angle like 15degrees and it would fix for me.
