Just take a look at the PC Games - Technical section. There you'll currently find seven bloody topics about that new Hitman game, and all created by people with less than 100 posts.

Whatever happened to rule #5??
Quote:
5. Search before you ask something. Dupe threads pollute the board.

Lazy-ass people who don't bother to read or use the search feature piss me off, seriously. Frakkin n00bs! Mad

Alright, thanks for letting me vent. Smile

I guess the invite only registration was removed because nobody vouched, wich meant no more new users, but i still think an active moderation of posts from new members is a good idea, so their posts can be filtered out by mods before they show up here. Of course it means more work for the mods, but they are all lazy anyway Razz Wink

The registration opened when we had board errors and had to go back a few days on the board. Things will resume soon! Smile watch this space...

How about restricting new users to a special n00b section until they got 10 posts or so..and after that they become full members.

Some people should just read a lot more before asking. Make it mandatory for noobs to read the entire thread before posting. Wink Just kidding.

Now that you mention it. I'm also on another forum, and some threads there are huge, and they have this rule that you have to read the last 30 pages of a thread before asking anything. If you ask something wich was answered within the last 30 pages, you are gone without warning. They only cut you some slack if you are a long time member Wink

Considering that some seasoned users post like they just randomly smashed some keys, your limit probably won't get rid of the blatant idiocy.
