that electric car must wieght barely anything and is probably only designed for speed so they should have raced it against something faster than that crappy ferrari and not so great porsche.
why didnt they race it against the fastest road car?

They don't have to prove anything, people who buy electric cars don't need it to outrun a ferrari, nobody gonna ride at 200km/h to the grocery store.

Acording to a article it can travel 150 KM befor it need to recharge.The recharge takes arond 5 hours.

Thing about electric cars is, No heaters and no air conditioning. Until batteries can hold a very large charge they suck.
A superconductor would be nice.

if they dont need to proove anything then why did they race a ferrari and a porsche instead of some crappy regular car?

It's because they think that shallow people would be impress and buy their car.
