I think its really good for concerned (and really paranoid) parents. But it might actually be useful in other cases.

lol, mailed the link to a friend of mine, she lives in Pensacola FL. She was shocked to see so many registered sexual offenders in her city, they are everywhere.

@Saint and fraich3: Some of the victims are haunted for the rest of their lives too. I agree though that some people shouldn't be on that list. Like they show women who have had sex with a 16/17 year old, that's even legal here.

Still they have been through the system and the constituion states those people are innocent. Maybe some of these people are trying to turn their lives around and try to do things for the better.

Pedophiles may never change in their sexual preference though treatment are able to "cure" the particular person.
Though im confident that rapists can change.

But quite a lot of sex offenders aren't actually sex offenders. And those on that list aren't all convicted either. It's tarnishing innocent names and people. People like you abuse this system with your myopic views and thus make these innocent people victims of unjustified abuse.

Is it more OK for women to have sex with 16/17 year olds than men to have sex with 16/17 year olds?

What a load of shite. Rape is probably one of the hardest crimes to be convicted for.

If it wasn't so sick this guys address would be almost funny.

Of course its sick and one of the worst crimes ever but these people have SERVED their time and some of them have gone through medical treatment to be cured for the temptations...

both is legal here. I was just giving an example from that register, because there are quite a few females listed with that offence.

i dont really think a rapist or child molester can ever serve enough,
and besides, some of these serve less than e-pirates, which would be 3-4 years.
you call that justice? i really like this system, of course there are also people listed for sexual offense, that isnt a rape yet, and this is the bad side of it.
overall though, most of these people listed are real rapists and child molesters and they
deserve to be hunted their whole life long.

Yes but they're not ALL rapists. Like i said your myopia is branding them all in the same category. One sex offender might have been innocently looking at a website on a public computer and then porno pops up, and then they get reported. It's as broad as that!

I know it sounds wrong... But i think so. Its legal here too

One example; An 23 year old teacher(x-model i think) had an relationship with an 14 year old kid, witch included sex. I doubt the 14 had any issues with that. Smile
It could be the same with a girl at the same age and a man.. But i think a man thinks different. Some guys maybe have feelings for the young girl, but some just want to "use" them. I don't think womans do that. Not if the kid\guy is over 12-13.

Yes but like i said, there are exceptional cases when people do get punished in cases like mine.

I find it hard to believe you're an education officer with your attitude. You should be sacked or at least re-trained. What we have working our schools is obviously shocking.

Just because it's an exceptional case you therefore deem a minority unimportant. You should treat each case individually, which is not what you nor the site does. It labels them all in the same band of people which isn't very fair when it ranges from people who maybe sexually provoked a workmate to one who raped 70 kids and sold videos of them online.

I love kids opinions. Sublime. Don't you have any idea how regulated and how much more we need to regulate these people. I work in the education system which caters for all types of kids. If anyone has any kind of doubt towards them then they need to be kept away from that kind of enviroment.

May be so, but do you think that someone who was seen looking at porn on a public computer accidentaly to be a pervert like someone who's been shagging kids for 20 years?

I'm not sayin we should let perverts into the kids changing rooms or anything, but not all of these people are convcited, and not all of their charges are laid out in full for dissection.

And yes, you keep calling me a kid if you think that makes you feel better but you know i'm right.
