WoW PvP is far from casual. Oh wait, you dropped out of beta long ago because you dismissed the game so fast, no wonder you don't know about it. And I have a single tracked mind? :\

All EQ proved was that there were a lot of whiny kids who don't want any real challenge when they game. I believe the term "care-bear" has sprung from this.

I also never mentioned that PvP is "everything", but it should be a part of every game. It's the danger that makes a game interesting, it's part of the atmosphere, at least it should be. EQ (and EQ2 apparently) lacks an entertaining atmosphere.

Sure it'll be a success because there is no danger, and people like that. As I've said, they abuse the market to get money.

Zerg in PvP, ah yes, and 20 vs 1 in EQ is any different. Oh except the 20 vs 1 in EQ, the 1 isn't doing any real thinking. Real tough.

Yes teamwork and exploring worlds are also a necessity, as are crafting (I like crafting too). But PvP should also be in there. I hate to bring it up, but UO had it right the first time, then they saw Sony abusing the whiny kids who had money to spend and tried to get a piece of it.

EQ2 will be another "success" sure. But another tired one.
