If I remember correctly, if you put setup or autorun in windows 2000 compatibility mode it will detect directx correctly.

Hmmm....none of it works for me, i tried the directX install from the godfather directory and it failed on me!.

Then i made the autorun.exe and the GDFTHR_inst.exe win2k compatible to no avail......

Sigh...the next thing i'll do is bying a PS2 and then getting the game working that way :S :S :S

naaah, one of my friends told me that the only way to install the game is to copy it to the harddisc, mount the image and then copy the whole thing to hd and from there install the game, will try the other ideas you mentioned with that method also.

Really hope this will work since i loved the mafia game Smile

Wish me luck!

The more work you put into it, the more you will be disappointed. Razz
