True ... I liked it too. Only thing I didnt like first was that the zombies were moving really fast (unlike in the old movies) - but I got used to it:).

I think fast zombies make for a much better movie. The original Dawn Of The Dead was brilliant but all the way through I was thinking that it wouldn't be too difficult to get away from them because they're so slow. I give this film 6/10 for a remake as it missed most of the character building and dialogue that the original had but 9/10 for a stand alone film.

That's the whole point though, they move slowly, but eventually they'll get you in the end. It's a metaphor for death. Still liked the movie though.

Give me a pair of Japanese Katanas, some body armour and a bag of speed. Let's see how far slow zombies get then! Cool

Hehe as Manny Calavera said: they'll eventually get you. There would be just to many. That's what made the old movies really scary.

True, but it would be fun for a while and a great way to go out Twisted Evil

a bit late, but having just seen this it's not a patch on the original. The fast Zombies adds nothing to the mix and while gore-fans might like the special effects there wasn't anything here that warranted a remake (artistically anyway, I'm sure the financial aspect alone was strong enough Wink)

Bad film to be honest, the characters, the plot... the editing in places was also just stupid.

Very disappointed.

The original might be out of date, and the sound and picture quality not up to scratch but at least it was entertaining and thought provoking at the same time. Remake is just big bangs and nothing more.

That sucks. I loved the remake and don't want to wait all the way to October for it. Oh and it's been delayed two weeks. It now comes out October 19th.

Rolling Eyes

It's a very good song and it actually does well to make some kind of atmosphere in the beginning of Dawn Of the Dead
