Alrighty now, my ISP (Shaw)'s newserver's a joke. Are there any free decent newservers? I'm not a fan of paying to download stuff. Also, I used to get really nice speeds (100kbps) on bittorrent but since I updated azureus It's gotten really slow (20 - 30kbps). I used to use IRC alot but since I found torrents they've been alot easier because I don't have to worry about being disconnected, waiting for queues, etc. I could just leave it on all day. Are there any alternatives?

iffy topic.. I dont think anyone can add anything more to things.. you have your choices, make best use of them.

I have nothing to add to the above but I am a shaw user too. Shaw has done something in the last week. Maybe try a port change

Use the older version of azureus then. I do when I need to get something obscure.

pay the 15-20 bucks for a premium server. there is no comparison -- and no free usenet access.

you're downloading thousands of dollars of software/games/movies/music a month, so is this really that much to pay?
