I'm not sure on the brand, it's a trial pair I have to wear to make sure the prescription is right. I should be going back in next week I think. :\

I wear my glasses a lot at home.
Sounds like a crap trial pair. I think the fit is off, the prescription should be fine because that is a pretty straight forward test. If it really hurts I wouldn't wear them they could be damaging your eyes. I would also get a solution for sensitive eyes. I use opti free or something like that. I try to super clean them more then you should because they bug my eyes if I don’t.

Dude!!~! and that is going to help by what? Please explain because I don't get it. Is this some kind of secret welder talk? Cuz we are not all welders here, so you should explain better. No doubt there are better contacts for this type of work, but which ones? and why??? If you can, if you are fully able too, can you explain your reasons??? Happy day to you |
a flash is when the light from the arc touches your eye. The degree of flash depends on how much contact your eye made with the rays from the arc. You can get lightly flashed or you can go blind.
Ive been flashed quite a few times and it fuckin sucks. Your eyes dry up. They feel like they have a buncha sand in them and they burn like fuck.
I think I made a thread a month or so ago about getting flashed. My one eye was flashed shut...couldnt open it for 2 days.

If your eyes are dry try blinking like 30 times. When you blink your eyes produce some kind of fluid making your eyes moist or something.

I hope you're right. I'm not joking... my eyes close on their own when I try to stick something near them.

Yeah, once you get over the fear of sticking them in there it's okay, it just hurts at first. (Not that I know about it not hurting yet).

It sucks alot more to wear contacts. Not that they're bad while you're wearing them, but just the complications that can happen if you wear them for too long, or sleep in them etc.

I am scared of lazer eye surgery. Needles in the eye. It would be nice to wake up in the morning and see clear.
I can stick my finger right in my eye. When I take the contacts out I stick my finger on the iris and slide the contact down. My contacts suck because I have to move them back into the proper place and that means I have to touch my eye. It was really bad when I was working because I had to touch my eyes all the time.

You have to slide them? Man, I can just pinch them off my eye.

Yep. I slide them not pinch. When I first got them it took me 30 min to get them out and I first did it by sliding. Now I can't do it any other way. My eyesight is really bad. 340/20 Basically what I can see at 30 meters others can see 340 meters away. I think that is how it works. Sometimes I drop them and then I am fucked because I have no hope in finding them. I have to make sure my glasses are right beside me when I take them out because good luck in finding my glasses after I take the contacts out.
Those of you out there with good eyesight be thankfull.

No needles in the eyes. No pain from the surgery, takes 10 minutes and all done.
Worked fine for me. $2500 is the part that hurts.
