if anything warcraft is ripped from warhammer so dont say this is a WOW clone. This game almost got cancelled too and im glad it got put into production again. Would ove to know some info on the game tho mqaybe 5 warring factions undead/orcs/humans/high elves etc. massive pvp Very Happy

yeah im an old player of DAoC aswell... went back to it a few months ago, btu no one plays it anymore Sad
yet they still release new add ons for it. Last one was out a month or two ago.
If people started going back to it, id definatly go back to it. I still think its best mmorpg out

DAoC is by far the best pvp-mmorpg out there. Spent aloooot of days playing it.

WoW is a nice game and all but the pvp just isnt good enough. In DAoC eight highly skilled players can beat 40 people while in WoW a comparable number would be 5 that are able to tackle 15. But the thing is in WoW is that happens maybe once out of ten times.

When i was playing we rarely lost versus the zergs (lots of people, mostly low pvp-ranks) solely because we played a very tactical and smart game. Everyone knew that the other seven people in the group knew their job.

Well enough about that, lets hope Warhammer delivers what they promise Smile

Havnt seen any screens from the old Warhammer Online that was cancelled. But it looks nice and ive been reading a little from the developers forums a little and sounds like they got some nice ideas for it.

Too bad WH is all about massive amounts of troops (aka. armies) and not a bunch of individual heroes running around.

If this game was different somehow, and let players control say a SQUAD of troops and maybe their semi- pimped officer, the game would be a lot more better.

But this looks like another standard create a hero for yourself and go get buff to level 60... total yawn fest and totally NOT what Warhammer is.

Holy fuck I hate annoying registrations. Especially that website.

Now my login and nickname can't be the same? So I have to come up with another login name, which I will only use for that freaking website, and will absolutely and definately forget what it is in cca 1 day.

Also restrictions on the password, like having two uppercase leters also fucking suck, which made me create another password (which I will also forget), which in turn made me create a notepad file with the password and login onto my computer, instead of keeping it all in my head as I would with normal passwords I use, so that it is easier to access by trojans and crap.

Goodjob fuckballs and your stupid security measures.

the US site is much better in this regard.
but well it's GOA so what else to expect >.<

Hehe. My thoughts exactly. Registration "security" is really overkill on European site. I only bothered with this retarded idiotic registration because this game might actually be good.

maybe Tabula Rasa is something for you
it's a 3rd person shooter/mmo pretty cool imho
- no downtime
- auto pickup (loot)
- combat is a lot of fun Very Happy

Haha yeah the GOA site is fucking stupid. 2 numbers 2 uppercase 4 lowercase.

I also looked at the GOA website, they looking for gametesters.

Even tho you are testing the english version of the game (says on website) they require you to be fluent in spanish, german, italian or french. Workplace is Dublin Ireland.

GOA is Gay and Gay is GOA.
