Here’s an instant message client for the PSP that has lot of promise! So much promise that I was surprised when I saw Davgav post about it in our forums because I hadn’t heard a peep about this program up until now. Maybe that’s because I don’t hang around in alot of Spanish-speaking circles – and I’m apparently missing out. PSPJabber makes use of the Jabber IM servers and does it with style, the interface seems very polished! For those of you wondering, there is no mention of whether or not this will work on 2.0 PSP’s, so check it out and leave some feedback on your results. Here’s some of the vital information from Davgav’s post:

CONTROLS:
Start: Menu
L: Change Contact to send messages
R: Change Contact to send messages
X: Cancel
O: Confirm
Keyboard:
D-pad: Select a character
A-nub: Change UPPER/lower case
O: Insert selected character
X: Delecte a character
Triangle: Insert space
Square: Enter/Send message

SERVERS
Has been probed on the following servers:
jabber.org
jabber.org.au
jabber-hispano.org

VERSIONS

I found how to use AIM MSN ICQ

Download GUSH install it on youre PC
http://www.2entwine.com/download/releases/gush1_3/gush-setup.exe

Make an Account example. xxx@2entwine.net

Then Login on GUSH as the account you just made. You will see a orange roadsign it pulls up a Gateway page.

From there just enter in youre AIM MSN ICQ info and hit enter.

After that enter any contacts you want on GUSH. Or import them on the gateways page.

After you are done go to the CONTACTS.TXT of the PSP program Jabbar.

change it to this...

server=2entwine.net
port=5222

(((Note: Theese are the login info you made on GUSH)))
usuario=xxx
password=xxx

((This is you're MSN info))
usuariomsn=xxx@hotmail.com
passwordmsn=xxx

pasarelamsn=msn.jabber.org.au
contact=xxx@2entwine.net

Ok, I don't know jack about this stuff so I am guessing the way I have AIM working on it is the fact I am leaving GUSH logged in so that the AIM Network stays logged in on my 2entwine account even while my PSP is off.

This keeps you from having to enter any additional Text into the CONTACTS.TXT on Jabbar.

I would say you don't even need any info past the 2entwine.net user pass info in the text, but I added it anyway.

Hopefully someone will make this english with a good readme so we don't have to keep GUSH online on the PC to keep the gateway AIM and MSN logged in.
