we are going to record some new songs and have done some demo-recordings in our rehearsal-room and i would love to get some feedback on them. Mainly about song-structure, perceived lenght (boring or not), quality of the song-writing, and so on. The vocals are off at times as we dont have compressors for the recording so sometimes they clipped or werent loud enough. I tried to fix the things i could with mixing, but keep in mind, that this is only a concept for the songs so dont get into nitpicking mode (we might have missed a note or a beat or two with the instruments as well) 
Also, as the songs have a range from very emo to metal with punk and other stuff thrown in the mix, could someone tell me into which genre you d put us, as we are lost for a classification for our music...
All the songs are about relationships gone wrong, except for one song, and have either spanish or english vocals.

nah, we have only one "emo" in the band, and he is the drummer
The last song "aurora" is him on the guitar and our guitarist playing drums and you can hear that he listens to too much emo 
I m the metalhead in the band but as bassplayer my ability to metalize the songs is limited (in some songs like new world ogre i get to growl a bit at least ) =)

Luzi i just checked the first song -my downfall- , let me criticise you guys. (i can't download the others i get 503 service unavailable error when i try to download , will check the rest later.)
First of all your vocalist sucks , he tried to do scream vocals but seriously that's ear raping , noo i like scream vocals like Chuck Schuldiner , chuck billy etc do.
First 60secs were awesome man , it sounds like death.But then it sounded like a newbie dj mixed the songs. Because it suddenly became so fast , for a second i felt like driving a cabrio camaro which is full of high school girls , just like in that gayass teenager movies...
You could play some heavier riffs and the song could be slower , just like return to serenity.
The song resurrects at 2.36 min and goes very well , it's really hard to criticise a band with only one song , but i can tell you guys are a ''trash metal band '' (don't forget i just listened to first song) .
About the lenght ; 4.30 is ok for this song but the most important song is it's missing a solo which could make the song better.
I will check the others soon and edit this post.
@ you , bass sound gets kind of drowned in the vocalist's tsunami. You play good , but it could be harder and louder  , By the way what kind of bass do you play 4-5 string ? , fretless ?

yeah, i know. The vocals are fucked in many places because we dont have a limiter and/or compressor and the levels overshot at times, and one of our two vocalists also plays guitar, and didnt concentrate on the vocals that much... ...the vox will be finalized when we record the songs next month
edit: and the songs work fine for me, perhaps it was a mediahump hickup, dunno

Yeah, the vocals need to go...just tell the guy that he's not right for the band. If he bitches, let him listen to himself, tell him he sucks and kick his ass
I like the music tho
I cant comment on the lyrics as i cant understand what the vocalist is saying...
