Is it possible to rip a useable image from a burned copy of a game?

The reason I ask is because all my original discs are back at home and my burned copies are here with me at school and I was thinking about ripping new images from the burned CDs and backing those images up onto blank DVDs so I can get rid of the huge stack of burned CDs I have with me right now.

TIA.

Create folders with the game name then make images and burn it as a data DVD. So if you want to install them, just mount with Dtools

So I don't have to worry about the copy protections screwing things up?

No, actually what I meant was that if I rip an image from my burned CDR then I'm not ripping any copy protection at the same time. I'll just have a clean image that I can then burn to DVD as data and then mount and install.

Just re-image it using imaging software like Alcohol 120%.. Can't promise the image will work, depends on the copy protection and the tools you use..
