Looking for a good game that has split screen multiplay and good gamepad support. An action game with third or first person. In a perfect world one that would also do both co-op & deathmatch!

Rant: Why do so many of these console ports exclude this function? I mean Stubbs would have been a blast with co-op on the PC!

Anyone have one or two titles to throw out. Promised my nephew if he got some good grades I would go out and get something new for us to play.

Thanks

True, but consoles have there own online services & split screen. Right now I have to settle for finding one with split screen support for the weekend.

Theres none as far as i remember...this is PC gaming...not console gaming...and you really want to play split screen on a 17" or 19" screen....i cant even play splitscreen on a 32" TV cause its too small and annoying.

In the PC world, we call this LAN...so find yourself another computer Very Happy

The last game I can recall that I played with splitscreen support was NFS3. O.o

Upcoming PC games 2009 and onwards
Bravery is not a function of firepower.

-Lego Star Wars (coop)
-Doom (with a engine source port like DoomLegacy)
-Jets 'n' Guns (http://jng.rakeingrass.com/)

Not really split screen, but still hotseat:
-Lord of the Rings: Return of the King
-Worms

Not really multiplayer, yet good gamepad support:
-Onimusha 3

Wink

Jets'n'Guns don't support split screen? Maybe you were thinking about Dovez2?

Haha, that game was awsome back then. Remember playing it in splitscreen with me and a friend both using the keyboard Smile

No point in having that one split screen, it should've been with 'Return of the King' in my list. Twas late when I posted it.

Gish is uper fun deathmatch or coop. Good gamepad support.

For multplayer stuff though you should go to emulators/mame.

Thanks for all the help. Got Mame, 1964, pSX and Gens but thought I would see if there were any PC games I might have missed. Would have been nice to see the CoOp play in Stubbs!

Thanks again.
