This game is killing me. I have the DVD version and FINALLY got it to run... Now it freezes on the opening load screen. I am using an ATI x800..newest cat drivers. Any ideas? Nit

Can u precise which loading screen u're talking about ? cuz i've a hang up on the options menu when the game has started but which stops after a few seconds

Its the LucasArts....Star Wars Empire at War blackk screen. It has the copyright details at the bottom.

I still have not been able to get this game to run...it still freezes up at the STAR WARS EMPIRE AT WAR screen...with the LucasArts copyright info at the bottom (black screen). When I hit contl/alt/del...it says that star wars empire at war.."not responding" Any ideas? I am using the securerom method...Curerom did not work. I am running an ATI x800 with the newest caty drivers. Please help... thanks in advance Nit
