HI... I'm a 18 year old student... And I've been wondering about finding a job abroad(mainly in UK) for a summer(living in Latvia) Are there any possibilities ? Can you give any advices ? Just aa... don't know where to look... and what to look for... Tnx in advance !

for a student in the UK, mainly bar work, shop assistant, waitressing, or call centre work. but you'll find it pretty hard to get a temp job in england if you're not an english citizen. You might be able do cash in hand jobs and maybe able to do survey's but to get a shop job will be near impossible because you need a NI number.

I remember my summerjob I was painting all the water hydrants in Sandefjord. Worked with a 20 year old girl. She was driving, while i was sleeping\playing my psp. 90NOK a hour earned about 9000NOK total (wanna know valute, check www.xe.com) But damn, there was more hydrants than i tought! I hope Avenger_ haven't seen any unpainted ^^

And i don't think its weird at all. My cosin didn't like Norway so much before he was traveling around in the world. Then he found out big parts of europe sucks. Nice to travel to, but not live in. And btw. the american navy's at the same age as my cosin was amazed over the money we got(they met alot other nations), they didn't get shit... =\ Tho i don't know what he did down there... It was an "active peace mission". But he has "taushetsplikt", so he can't tell me anything.
