for those who arent sure , and playes games that dosent support dual core and it playes like shit , do this.

all u need to do for everygame that dosent support Dual cores , it is verry simple.
start the game, minimize to desktop , click CTRL ALT DELETE for windows task manager , find ur game example " the regiment would be SAS.EXE " right clock on it choose SET AFINITY , and take CPU 1 out then ur all set.

u can also edit the shortcut so it always starts with 1 dualcore.

Good advice there my friend.

Toms Hardware also have a good article and more importantly, a free piece of software that handles processor assignments for you each time you start a program.

Please see http://www.tomshardware.com/2004/05/28/getting_more_bang_out_of_your_dual_processing_buck/ for the article or you can download the clever software from here http://images.tomshardware.com/2004/05/28/getting_more_bang_out_of_your_dual_processing_buck/taskassign.zip

Good stuff I hope you agree, and, you dont have to manually assign CPU assignment every time you run a program Smile

Enjoy

Allan

To bring up taskmanager press -> ctrl + shift + esc

Much easier than ctrl + alt + del and so on..

But ctrl + alt + delete (with the "welcome login screen" disabled) just pops everythign you have running right down and gives you a clear "what to do" screen.
