so, i was wondering to play with these.
anyway, first i tried Steam-Down, which i installed well, registered nick etc. but it didn't start for some weird error - oh well, uninstall etc.
then i downloaded CueSteam (Impulse_666 Edition, Nov 20 2005 Build) - yep, everything went fine. right now downloading Half-Life 2.
the question is: if i have downloaded it, can i run that game? i don't wanna play it online. only SinglePlayer and try to mess with Garry's Mod if possible. or it will download the game and after download it says something like wrong key/wrong build/fuck off or smth.
i heard that FireSteam is private only - you can't use it. so i didn't downlod it even.
but the question is, guys: which one is the best Cracked Steam to download and play properly Half-Life 2 Singleplayer?

I use CueSteam+ Retro, it's the newest edition.

but can you download HL2 and play it fine on SinglePlayer? and can you install Garry's Mod on it.. and can you use official updates or you must use cracked one's still?

if you have downloaded HL2, can you use "official" updates?

When you download shit via CueSteam-like apps newest version is always downloaded, so you don't need to update. Yes HL2 works fine.

It must be enabled (there are also offline versions of cuesteam), it's just like real steam but you need cracked servers to play multiplayer.

i had steam down i think.. downloaded Half Life 2, played for 5 minutes. Uninstalled. Got dressed and went to town and bought the game of the year edition. worth every penny.

tried with CueSteam nov 20, 2005 build. and yes, it must be enabled, if you wanna play HL2 SP for example.

is CueSteam dead already?
2 days trying to download some game, but prompts up: "Steam servers are too busy"..
it can't be that long in every moment.. using +Retro edition.

i have vng ISO too. I am downloading CS:Source and Hl2 update. But for some reason i cant update CS:Source only, i must update hl2 and css at the same time.
