Ok, i'm using this little app called Du Meter basicaly it's monitoring your download/upload speed and then you can run some stats and export in .txt really nice
so lately i noticed that even when i was not using the internet or anything i was downloading at let's say between 5-15kb/ps all the time...
first thing that came to my mind was some kind of spyware/mallware or any other crap, thing is i keep my computer pretty clean, i got NOD 32, Kerio + anti spyware app...
i updated everything and ran scan... nothing, then i check for some fish yprocess running nothing, i did a netstat and i have to say it was pretty clean, some stuff i didn't know what it was but connection was in TIME_WAIT meaning prolly blocked by the firewall right? don't know anything about that so if someone can explain what this TIME_WAIT is that would be nice
anyhow i'm still downloading and i don't know what/where, anyway to check exactly what it is?
What i did also... in Kerio there is block all traffic button but still with all traffic blocked i keep on getting those dl speed... so is this some kind of local process running?
I don't think problem is coming from Du Meter since it was Ok before..
anyway if you have any idea thx to post
Bye

It could be so many things there is almost no way we can help.. Are you on a LAN? If so it could be general LAN traffic.. It could be your ISP and/or other members of your ISP nearby, as many types of transfer are broadcast based and thus will hit an entire network.. while your ISP will be constantly making sure your still there.. It could be Windows downloading updates, or other programs doing the same..

Don't know what it is, but i know it's not DU Meter because mine shows 0kb/s if i have no traffic running.
