Yes, it will be available within 2 weeks. Just got it confirmed from a person at Lions Gate, they ALWAYS make DVD Screeners for all their movies, there was one for Saw 1 as well shortly after the release. So don´t bother with TS/Cam with this one, just wait for the DVDSCR.

Saw was brilliant. But I'm afraid Saw 2 will be very disapointing... Still looking forward for it though

Just for the record, Saw was not brilliant.

Sorry mate, just trying to get a rise. I wouldn't have a problem with Saw if people didn't say it was soooooooo good. Maybe 6/10.

Saw 2 is reviewed on IGN.com, they gave it 4 out of 5 stars, looking good so far!

Reviews are all about opinions.

Just because someone is unaware of what makes a movie good doesn't mean he's/she isn't entitled to their own opinion.

Now saw lacked story, depth and characters.
The ending was unexpected only because no one knew of the character. No one had the idea why he was there. What he did. And all that. It’s like putting a coke bottle in the middle of a room and in the on the movie the bottle explodes and kills everyone in the room.

Unexpected, shocking ending := awesome movie.

Saw sucked because there was no witty writing. Feign and vague connections to the characters made it horrible. A photographer hired to spy on this bloke. This bloke is having an affair. The next day they meet up in a room and have to kill each other to survive. Shocked

The story somewhat evolves a tad after. But all in all it’s crap.

Se7en had an unexpected ending. You knew all the characters even though Kevin spacey was unveiled half way through. And even then you know how despicable he is. And in the end when the inevitable happens you are shocked.

Saw did shit. A little trinkets here and there. Loud noises. Bangs. Booms. And a character out of nowhere rose from the dead. And you got the best horror movie ever? Bull fucking shit.

Now the style. I liked. It was dark, gritty and mtv like. But the overall execution isn’t no where near the credit it gets.

Saw 2 will prolly be now predictable now that you know what not to expect.

Let’s guess the mystical ending.

I go first.

I say that one of the people locked in is in on the whole thing and that there is no nerve gas. And they are just freaking out cause they’re in a confined space and are told that they’re soon dead.

And therein lies that problem. I could accept Saw as a mediocre, somewhat good horror flick. But there are people that think it is the best horror movie ever created. Well ... teenage girls mostly Razz

not saying saw is the best horror movie ever (that is ofourse Friday the 13th part 8 Razz), would hardly even see it as a horror movie.
though it is very exciting, with a cool plot-idea. bad acting though, especially from the doctor, he truly sucked Razz
I have to say, that i'm seldom as on my nerves as i was when i saw Saw...

I hated saw too Smile This 1 doesn't entice me either (nor did the first) The first left me more irritated than shocked. The scene where the starts hacking off his own arm (or leg can't remember) is pathetic and I ask again.... why didn't he take off his shirt and try hook it?!!?

Cause if he could've done that then why didn't the guy in the bathtub wake up sooner than later. He was submerged in water. Actually in the beginning shot he was underwater, so, if he was unconscious and underwater for more than 8 hours I’d have to say... Shocked

The movie was all about being in a situation where you can't clearly think. You do the first thing that comes to your mind. In the doc's case it was to be free to reach the phone and he had to do that by hacking his leg off. Shocked

I don't know. The fellow was sleeping on his stomach for a while. He was breathing. Couldn't the doc notice it? Or even the photographer since he has an eye for detail. Shocked Sad Sad Sad such a shit movie Crying or Very sad Laughing

well didnt they hook the tape recorder with a shirt or something? Im really in a blank mind mood at the mo and can't think back to it..... probably because I never wanted to think of it again! anyway it's just annoying and no1 would do that if they were in that situation.

precisely.. therefore it is shit Very Happy. I don't mind films being stupid... if they follow that trend but with psychological thrillers like that i'd much prefer it to be accurate. If it could happen in real life i'd expect the most likely actions to be portrayed too.. then it can really effect the viewer. By doing this over dramatic performance it just takes away that element because 'I wouldn't do that'. True thrillers although they may use super natural things such as demons / ghosts / aliens can still be frightening purely by keeeping the reactions realistic.
