So, I bought another 512mb of Kingston memory, cause I only had 512mb before. Opened case and tried to install it, fucking pins wouldnt lock, no matter how gentle or how hard I pushed.Was so fucking close to use a hammer to get that stupid thing in there, so I told my wife, computer n00b, doesnt know shit, to give it a try. Told her, just try to push it in until the pins lock. She said 'alright', gave the stick a little push and all I heard was 'click' 'click' and "like this honey?" And I was like 'wtf'!!!!!!

Talking about DDR RAM though 
I have no idea what I did wrong, I tried it gentle first, pushing a little harder after every try, stupid pins didnt want to lock. When I built this system, I bought the exact same ram, from the same vendor and got it installed without a hassle in slot #1. Ah well, at least its in now, have to thank me missus later on in bed

Maybe you cleaned all the dirt / crap from the slots the first time around? I dont know.. and that site does sell RAM

what really pissed me off was, it took her like 2 seconds, she just pushed it and it locked in. And then this "like this honey?" I almost slapped that bitch lol (j/k I would never lay a hand on her, except she asks me to )

but honestly, it already started. the whole evening yesterday she kept yacking about that so i just unplugged the network cable from her laptop, lets see if she can figure out that one
