|
 |
Hey, can anyone suggest specific tracks that go well with violence? I have a few ideas but need more.
I've just started playing 'mount and blade' quite a bit, and the fights are fun, but they need some real music injected to take it to the next level.
THANKS!

Any rock sound is good really but when I train for boxing it is usually rockstar by NERD but the one that really gets me going is 'Voices off camera' by rise against. the lyrics are just amazing particularly the chorus:
I hit the ground and I'm still running
but I need a place to stay tonight,
I swear I'll be gone in the morning
I just need somewhere now

I would go for some black or death metal. Try Enslavement of Beauty. They have released two albuums and then the album died, the second CD is way harder to get into but it's really great it also has amazing lyrics. The first one is more symphonical and proboarly wont for to voilence so much at all. But try the second album like the songs Midwinter Murders etc. (i think that was the songs name) eitherway the bands name was Enslavement of Beauty.
Edit 2: Oh and if you just want a plain fun song go for: Ramones - Beat on the brat

Yeah, Rap is alright, so any rap violence would be cool too.

Np man.
Also look for the Black Chiney Albums. The earlier ones are way better than the more recent ones. They have everyone on there. Buju, Beanie Man, Ward 21, Alozade, Elephant Man, Spragga benz, TOK, Barrington Levy, Teflon etc
The reggae may be a lil hard to understand cause they speak really fast and use alot of patwa, but if you really listen to whatever song once or twice, you'll be able to understand it id say.
Great breakin heads music tho. Awesome beats.
Dancehall reggae murder's rap. Its basically the same, in the sense that they talk about the same things - guns, fighting, weed, drugs, girls etc But, reggae just has more of a melody and rythem to it. good shit

Also try Skindred if we are talking reggae, they are combining Regga with Metal, which I think was highly unusual when I first heard the band during a Drag in NFSU 2, but it sounds magnificient!
They have an album out called Babylon and I would highly recommende it.

A few more rap songs I thought of...well, I listened to em and thought they would be good. Thinking of shit on the spot is difficult
Mike Jones - Hood Hop beat mix (freestyle)
Mikes Jones ft Paul Wall - They Dont Know
Mike Jones ft Paul Wall - Still Tippin (not trippin, tippin)
Three Six Mafia ft Lil Flip - Rainbow Colors <- badass tune, i dunno if you'll get what they are talking about, lean/syurp/rainbow colours is permethazine and codone mixed with sprite or 7up, makes you "lean", thats why its called "lean" or "syurp" - syurp because its cough medicine, but really strong strong, over the counter, perscription shit.
These are southside beats still, like grimey texas shit. If you like it, man, there is a TON of Mike Watts and DJ Screw shit...wicked. 23 minute freestyles and shit.
