So I had been interested in seeing this from the time the trailer was released, and I finally got to watch it the other night.

I stopped by IMDB to see what the average person thought of it, and was pleasantly surprised to see it had an 8.0 (Although not many votes). I looked into the comments, and noticed that there were many cries of "boring"...

What did you all think of the movie if you have seen it?

Personally I thought it was an excellent movie, while I didn't grow up in the 50's, I thought it did an excellent job of recreating the atmosphere, the dialogue was great, I enjoyed the jazz spots played throughout the movie, and am very happy I had the opportunity to watch this movie. I would probably give it 8.5 or 9 out of 10...

It was good. I loved the cast. Loved how everyone used to smoke even the people that presented the news, I guess it had a certain ellegance back then, these days smoking one like that would be beyond arrogant. The movie is hard to follow at times but overall good.

Also enjoyed this movie very much. Clooney did a fine job directing it.
