Anyone seen this kinda new series? Just saw first episode and it looked ok and had some good actors so downloaded the other 10parts.
But my reason for posting this aint nothing to do with this series. When i watched it i sorta remember an old scifi about an invasion. Remember its something with rocks, inside the rocks or so are a black thing and if you touch the rock you get infected (or the black things jump inside you). Thats practiclly all i remember and something about a lab where they take closer looks on the rocks.
Anyone pls got any idea of what movie im talking about?
Edit: nm, found out what the movie was called.

The film I reckon you mean is The Blob.
http://imdb.com/title/tt0051418/
Steve McQueen was the star.
The US working title was The Glob. Which I didn't know until I checked IMDB.

Hmm. The one I mean, there's a scientist that procures a sample of some alien species, that evolve inside one of his labs, in his home. After a while, they multiply and form two factions, one which build (out of the sand he has in their chamber) a model out of the scientist (they worship him, as though he was a God), and finally they do war.
Can't remember the movies name though.

That wasn't a movie, it was the season premiere (actually 2 eps) of the show "The Outer Limits (1995)", the ep was named The Sandkings. It was quite entertaining.

Great new episode (no. 11) by the way!
I love how this show actually gives you answers each episode, rather then just adding a tiny piece to the mystery, (such as a light coming out a hatch) aka Lost.
You actually feel like this series is going somewhere.
