I dont understand why everyone is so hyped for this movie? the graphics look like shit (cgi shit) and its about a fuckin overgrown ape...christ, I have a buncha guys on my street who are overgrown apes, dont need to watch a movie about one

Naw, not really...Im not a big King Kong fan...or Godzilla or any of those weird super monsters. And I still say the graphics look SOOO slack.
I'll prolly end up seeing it with someone, but I still think its gunna suck - so over hyped all because ppl have been wanting a King Kong remake for a long time now.

geez mate.... i dunno what u consider good then...... considering IMHO.. and almost every single review says they are the best ever in a movie.... 
The orig kong was awsome...

yea was looking forward to this movie for a long time now, gonna see it with a couple of guys as fast as possible, the cgi is really great in this one just looking at the fine hair on kongs body and rest of the detail, amazing.
as i ve heard from people this movie is a really fun action-filled ride in the middle.

enjoying a shitty little cam release with shit picture and shit sound??? righto.
Anyways just got back from the movies and i watched it for a second.. some things about the movie..
- The CGI is AMAZING... comparing the hulk to kong >??? hahahahah kong would be 5x as good no question.... and the way they created the backdrops... no other movie comes close.
- The movie has EVERYTHING...pretty hardout violence (Between creatures)... real drama.... real love.. and real comedy... lots of action too
- The story is EXTERMELLY well portrayed in this movie....
- The movie is REALLY sad... the only time i had been sad in a movie before was in the lion king.. but this made me a little teary.. aswell as 95% of the other people in the theater..
- The movie is long VERY long...and reading some of the reviews its the only thing people seem to think is shit.. but thats a personal thing.. these people just dont have attention spans imho.... althou there are some scenes that could be a few minutes shorter... it is not a huge deal at all.
This year for me it would be the best movie released

I cant wait to see this movie. Peter Jackson is a damn good director. And he makes the movies HE wants to make. If you think King Kong looks like shit, go and make a movie yourself. I guess it wont reach the "quality" of Gigli.
