Ollax, before installing SP2, u need to uninstall any P2p software, emu software and make sure ur disc and windows if free of errors.
Thats what I microshit tech told me anyway - i did it and it worked fine

SP2 is, and has always worked w/o any problems for me o.O

For some reason SP2 works perfect for me... On the other hand I installed a version of WinXP that had SP2 slipstreamed into it and at the same time I formated... So could be because of that.
Once the firewall is turned of and a few tweaks it is great!

Sp2 works fine, if you want install it and use it without running into problems its the PC or users, like most software problems.
Dont like Microsoft, fine, use Linux / Beos / FreeBSD etc... there are other choices rather than moaning on a forum cause you cant install a service pack.

Its not that i cant install it's the shit about having to uninstall stuff cause they cant make it stick, ok!
If they are going to put the shit on win update it should be streamlined just as all other installs!
