I just got a new video card and i can finaly play my favorite game. I tried to find the game in stores but its not there anymore Sad i dont have a credit card in order to get it online so i used...a pirated version :O (shame on me). funny thing is doom 3 works fine but when i try the expansion i use a cd key and it starts instaling but when i enter the game it asks for both dooms and its expansions cd key and says theyre invalid...any ideeas?

you need the crackfix or you have to disconnect from the net, because the addon asks on a id-cd-key server if the key is valid

Or you could edit your hosts-file to redirect all trafic to idnet.ua-corp.com to something stupid like 127.0.0.1

If you dont want to enter that serial in the game, then just put this into "doomkey" file:

->ROE serial number here<-
// Do not give this file to ANYONE.
// id Software and Activision will NOT ask you to send this file to them.

then apply the latest patch [v1.3, I guess] and copy over the 1.3 crack, and launch the game.

There are also nocds available on gamecopyworld and gameburnworld.
