Hi .. ive just got myself an epson r300 (only one i could afford) anyway this printer prints directly onto printable dvd/cds.. however the util provided by epson is to say the least.. fecking crap! So im after an alternative.. Anyone know of a good util that will allow me to do this? I want one with all the knobs and shiny buttons.. scalable pics.. print previews (which the epson util does not have) I did a search on google but only found apps that print cd covers etc Any suggestions appreciated..thanks

How about Nero Cover Designer? I have never used it myself, but you might want to try it

Nero does not seem to do the actual cds/dvds just the cases

I just tied it myself, you can also design the cd/dvd, take a closer look

thanks..but it just prints onto dvd labels.. not onto the dvd itself there must be a good 'dedicated' util for designing and printing onto cds/dvds?

i have a R300 asweel .. Hmm yea its slighly on the dull side BUT it works everytime for me and decent Prints ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 when you open the prog up you set the size by going to the yellow disk on the side set the internal to 22mm and the external to 119mm

I wish i hadnt bought it.. yes it prints great.. but the crappy cd/dvd feed thingy is toatally abysmal.. its as if it was added as an after thought in the design of the printer..

i had it 2 days and already the thing is jamming in the printer

if its still on warranty take it bk demand another 1 if its out of warranty then i guess take it to a puter shop and see if they can sort it out EPSON Print CD
