I am gonna buy a console for my birthday in another month or so. I would like to know which console is better and why? Ps2 or XBOX (not 360, the previous one).

PS2 or Xbox? Get the Xbox and a Modchip=Console+Mediacenter!

But if you want to play...take my advice and go buy the Gamecube.

It's cheaper, has better games which are more fun to play than these boring (all the same...) PS2/Xbox Games you can play on your PC anyway!
