if the game runs, the guy would only have to put VMwares hardware usage to maximum, and it would run normally.
I will try it as soon as I manage to burn enough DVD's from my HD's, I've got 2 HD's with 300 GB and 1 Sata with 200 Gb and I've only got 3 Gb of free space, lol

Rather just wait for a virtual IDE or virtual SATA device rather than running a whole virtual machine .

we are just exploring possibilities, but, if some people are in the mood to shutdown the computer and remove the IDE cables everytime they want to play a game, the why should not run a virtual machine instead? it's all software manipulated, no crappy cable removing, and when we finish playing, just close the virtual enviromnent like it was just another menu of the game, if it really works, is ten thousand times more practical than the crappy cable removel procedure, don't you agree?

Starforce detects virtual machines. Until someone does an absolutely perfect one that's completely undetectable from the real thing that's not an option.

Nice idea. I got better, however - why not kill all the starforce devs and burn down their HQ so that knowledge on sf is lost forever? That would be cool.
