yeah but i only get it when i start the game and removing deamon tools doesnt seem like the solution for making the game work. I can play other starforce games like splinter cell but not ufo anymore ever since i tried to patch it. I even tried to uninstall it and i used the starforce cleaner program and still nothing ;_;.

The image must be copied and mounted to a standard IDE hardrive (not SATA or SATA raid) , a fix should be in the next version of Daemon Tools.

I have 2 SATA HDD's and POP 3 work fine.
I just disable NForce IDE ATA/ATAPI controller on which i have 2 CD-Roms.
And I can play all SF games using only Daemon-Tools 4.0

i suggest you post to their site. whether or not you are using a legitimate CD, their software should not be crashing your computer
