Ok,
The problem is that after installing Daemon Tools V4
my computer can't install drivers for virtual cdrom's
anymore. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, installing
Daemon Tools 3.47, removed Nero, removed all Starforce
related programs (games, drivers) and finally I edited the
registry to get some changes, but it was all effortless ...
I've ran out of ideas Confused
I'm running WinXP SP2
(under device manager the generic dvdrom has a yellow
mark on it(see pics). the scsi controller is ok)

(just the link: http://img352.imageshack.us/my.php?image=daemon347problem5pa.jpg )

Thanks in advance...

I've also discovered that the very same thing happens
with every other piece of software that tries to create
a virtual cdrom drive.
For example even Alcohol can't create a virtual drive.
It just pops up the same 'access denied' window.
I have a strange feeling that something might be
blocking the installation of scsi cdrom drivers,
although i have removed starforce..

Anybody ?
