Hi.

I have a problem with The Movies. When I try to start a new game the game loads, and I just get a glimse of the game screen, and then the game crashes to the desktop without any error messages. Anyone know what is causing this behaviour?
My pc specs are:

1000mhz amd athlon
384 bm ram
TI4200 8x GeForce

I have 81.95 installed - so that shouldn't be it.

,

Your pc according to the specs should run it however some components such as your RAM and CPU only just pass the requirements, TBH, Its prob a Graphics card issiue as RAM would usually show a "Out of memory" error or somethin Wink

Ok - funny thing is though, that I just tried playing the tutorial for about 5 minutes without no crash, exited to main menu and tried starting a new game. Then the game crashed to the desktop. I restarted the game and tried the tutorial again, and just after a glimpse of the game screen the game crashed...
It seems to be a random error that is occurring.
I think I saw somewhere that they have experienced some issues with pc's where the cpu is amd athlon below 1400mhz.
I can't seem to find the site again where I saw it.

My computer system is made up of the following equipment:

Pentium III@800 MHz
512MB RAM
GeForce 2Ti 64MB

The game works like a charm for me even with my outdated equipment. And I use a very old Forceware. I tried to upgrade to 81.85 but to my dismay Nvidia no longer support my trusty graphics card Mad

I'm sorry I can't help you with your problem... BTW are you using the Deviance DVD release or the Nogrp CD version ? I use Nogrp's rel and have not encountered any problems.

Been experimenting with some settings now, and it seems to eb my sound card that is causing the crash. If I turn all sounds off, the game plays fine. As soon as I turn on sound fx, the game crashes. I get an error in the event viewer, but since I have a localized version of windows, this won't help much I guess. I'll post it anyway if any danes should be watching or someone can recognize a word or two.
