Yep, got it the day it came out, it really is an awesome game. My one and only complaint with the game is that they have the online play portion WAY to lamed down, you have almost no control over the match making.

I love it now that the SC CF hacked version is out Very Happy

My only gripe is 50CC is too slow and tedious. I also hate the blue shells that are almost impossible to avoid. Since I dont have a wireless card i'm stuck on single player mode too Sad and tryin to work out how to get 3 stars on everythin Sad.

still castelvania only has a bit to go so that's takin up most of my time for the next day or 2 Smile

Get a save error on start up, apparently i need a DS cart in the DS slot with 2Mb flash save ability to get it going on my aging EZ2PS cart.

Oh well getting an M3 or Supercard soon.

I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????

I'm using a supercard CF and metroid. The 1.53 firmware should support all DS games too which will kick arse Smile. I wouldn't go for the M3 purely because I think the sc is better. The team is much better and consistant and unless you really want to play GBA games there's no real reason for it. Also I believe the GBA issues will be fixed soon.

Of course you can. With Supercardcards it uses SD / CF memory (dif version cards obviously.) The biggest is about 2GB I think so you can go crazy. I have about 10 games on mine but There's easily room for 20 (512mb card). There's a 'boot' menu where u just click the game and away u go Smile.

As for the GBA situation... I was speakin to some guys on irc (scdev.org on efnet) and it turns out that the hardware for GBA support just isn't that good. It runs DS games fine though. There are tweaks to get them to run decent though. Ive only tried mariokart and mario tennis. Mariokart ran slow but mario tennis was perfect. I just used the standard supercard software to patch them too, there's supposed to be a better one.

edit:
decided take some pics for ya...

I looked on my comp and those games and saves and all that are 400mb.

Thx Sublime..Thinking about it I always have my old EZ2PS cartridge if anyone wants gba games so the supercard would seem a good buy.

Some games require you to save on cart and some on the CF / SD. I think with the new firmware (out anytime soon) there will be less irratic saving methods but tbh I don't really notice it since only Shrek superslam is the onl game save I've used.

irc://irc.efnet.net/scdev.org <-- these guys helped me quite a lot and i'm in there so if ur really stuck just msg me.

Hold on, hold on. You can play DS games on flash carts, in much the same way you could back with the old GBA?

Oh. My.

Personally I would recommend just flashing the firmware...much easier then always carrying a passme around. Course you need either passme or wifime to do so...

As for links...I can give you the WMB wifime tutorial link, if you have the correct wireless card thats the easiest way to flash your firmware. Theres a bunch of links on that site as well, if you care to buy a passme.

Problem with passme is you buy it, flash your firmware, then its junk.

Anyways heres the WMB link: http://www.aaronrogers.com/nintendods/wifime.php

The reason the supercard does not run GBA games with 100% compatibility is because the speed of the memory on the supercards sucks. Thus, many intense GBA games will crash, since they crash, instead of slowing down.

irc://irc.efnet.net/scdev.org

www.supercard.cn
www.gbatemp.net

that's pretty much all you need. I'd recommend you go on IRC though since it's much easier.

You got Castlevania on yours? I just get white screens when I try to load that and the same with Lost In Blue. I think it has something to do with the fact the roms are 64mb ... so I went out and bought the originals. Lost in Blue is a great game and I would recommend it to anyone! I cant get any damn game to save for love nor money! Im beginning to think the supercard, superpass and sd card I bought were a waste of money!

of course casltevania works. I fucked up my CF card today though and lost all my saves!. I was on 90% completetion on the abyss. I had nearly all the souls and had been in every room I could get in at the moment in time Sad. I was level 47 and had fuck knows how much gold but I didnt spend any of it Sad. Took me about 7 hours to ge tthat far too and I had julius mode nearly complete too.

I haven't tried lost in blue but if u look at http://users.skynet.be/DuNe/NDS/supercard.html it'll tell you what works and what doesn't. Expect an updated list by tomorrow night though with the new firmware and patching software out now.

Damn dude that sucks! How did you fuck up your CF card? I havent played Castlevania much since I prefer Lost In Blue plus I have a PSP with Pursuit Force! Very Happy

I checked that compatibility list and apparently both Castlevania and Lost In Blue work but I cant get either of them to work. Does it have anything to do with the size of the game cart you use? I will check out the new software and hopefully it will allow me to save my games otherwise there is no point in playing them!

This thread went a bit off topic, huh? lol. Sorry.

That's why EVERY game works on the supercard now Wink and i think the m3/G6 is still needin a new firmware / patcher for animal crossing, tony hawks and dragonball z Smile

It's gonna come out next week but the SC is way ahead. I think pokemon dash and ultimate spiderman still dont work i havent tried them but the new patcher out last night fixes mario kart saves, the sims 2 and others. Not to mention the m3/g6 is a lot more expensive.

Supercard CF has really good DS compatability now with the 1.53 firmware update, pretty much even with M3 and G6..obviously the G6 is the best card but it comes at a hell of a price, even the M3 with a decent size CF card comes in at @£100.00 (180-200$)...you can get a supercard on ebay for under £20.00.

Got my madden2005 with 2mb flash save through the post today, bought on ebay for £8.00 inc delivery from the states; so now Mario kart works with my old EZ2PS 256 flash cart... it's really good......WAAAHooooooooooo
