OR
You could go to Chris Angel's website, buy the $30 DVD Quarter through a Soda Can (or glass table, or anything of the sort) and learn how to do it...which I assume this guy did as he has no real presentation and how many other magicians have done something of the sort before him? tons of em...magic is all about originallity.

I'm always amazed at people's reaction to so called magic tricks.
There's a hole in the table, there's a removable lid. It can be for instance semicone-shaped*, so that you only can lift it from below the table. This is one way to do it. Most likely this is the way the 'magician' did it.

Notice how this lid can only move up. Someone may argue that the cut could still be seen, but there are at least three countermeasures - tinted glass, smaller angle of the cone and use of liquids (oil, etc). Also, the quality of video is too poor, and the people who are present could be 'in on it'.
