Does dissabling my IDE in BIOS work for unplugging my cd's?

It works in my head. If the BIOS doesn't say its there, Windows (and StarForce) can't know about it. Right?

iirc that was possible in earlier versions of SF. The current vers fixed that exploit

Isn't this the issue that has been discussed allot?
Is it legal for them to enable IDE from the bios when the user has disabled it?
