Summary:

Infected puts you in the role of a New York City police officer on a mission to stop a virus from spreading. Planet Moon's first title for the PSP features both a single-player campaign and a wireless multiplayer mode, in which you can spread viruses to other PSPs.

It's Christmas time in New York City. A strange virus has appeared in the city, turning seemingly normal people into insane, violent folks called: Infected.

Rookie Officer Stevens is one of the first victims of the Infected. But unlike others, Stevens is stangely immune and doesn't lose control. The mysterious Dr. Schaeffer discovers that Stevens' immune blood can be used to destroy the otherwise unkillable Infected. Schaeffer creates a special "viral gun" that fills shells with blood from Stevens' arm and blasts them straight into the Infected, causing them to die.

Stevens is the only person who can save New York and Christmas from the Infected!

Features:

* Infect the world with your PSP Players spread their own unique avatar like a virus to other players' PSPs;
* Ultra-fast paced, two-gun action in the streets of New York;
* Set off massive chain reactions of exploding Infected, showering the streets with blood;
* Exciting multiplayer modes: Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch;
* Through multiplayer victories, players spread their avatars around the real world, player to player;
* Form clans with shared uniforms, spreading the same unique virus to the unsuspecting;
* Access a huge arsenal of powder weapons, viral weapons and special weapons such as air strikes and fire trails that ignite chains of Infected.

Oh wow! This was a surprise! I saw this one in an E3 video earlier in the year! This game looks freakin' awesome and it had better go on a 512mb stick! lol

People were saying it might be another GTALCS in the fact that you would have to have 2.0 installed. Is that not true then? Smile

I heard that newer games won't have the requirement for 2.0 because the protection held back the release of a few games and sony were losing money because of it. This seems to be true since this, Legend of Heroes and Kingdom of Paradise all work on 1.5.

I guess its ok! Its nowhere near as good as I was expecting. The blood splats on the screen are nice and its lots of fun with the chainsaw, other than that its kinda dull and repetitive. I expected more Sad

I'm pretty disapointed too. Saw some screenshots first, looked fun and gore, but i played a couple of missions last night and it always seems to be the same, shoot until they turn red, shoot with other gun to make them explode, repeat, ...

I'm stil waiting for a good action game with a nice story, a real Metal Gear Solid would be awesome (not that weird MG Acid thing)

its a zombie game... with loud music... in which you kill zombies... ZOMBIES! im sorry but if you were expecting some epic storyline with diverse gameplay then that is your fault for having unrealistic expectations, NOT the games Very Happy

I totally agree, although I do feel it needs something more to it, it feels a little empty even for a zombie game Razz!

Decent, only works with "DIRECT LOAD" in UMD EMU 8.0c, worth a try, but not a buy Wink!

Well it is a zombie game but why are the levels so damn repetitive, there's like no link between them, you go from one zone to another to kill stuff. i mean even Land of the dead on PC had more diversity, RE series has a decent storyline for a zombie game. I expected something more than just shoot what comes after you this has as much depth as Unreal Tournament, you're in an area, kill everyone, go to the next area :s

i guess all i ment was that its a zombie game, and its a psp game... just be happy that it runs on 1.5... expecting anything more is just asking for disappointment, lol...

but i think its allready been said, that the main focus of the game is multiplayer, not really singleplayer.
