Hi there.
So, i do have a big problem with playing Matrix: The Path of Neo.
Well, i start the game and everything's fine.. intro sequence with the Agents overun Neo and so on works fine. Menu is fine too.
But... When i wanted to start a new game i get a Black Screen.
I hear the sounds of the Intro sequence and hear later on Morpheus talking, but only with a Black Screen, i can't see a thing.
I got the newest driver for my Graphic Card, which is a Geforce 4 Ti 4200 with AGP 8X, i know.. not the best, but it got all games to work so far. For the rest.. i got a 2.67 GHZ Pentium 4 and 768 MB ram. So i don't think theres a problem, espeacially after i heard the Graphics aren't that good.
So.. anyone know how to solve that Problem?

i'm having the exact same issue. our system specs are very similar as well. i have a ti4600, 1gb ram and 2.4ghz p4.
same problem. everything is fine until i actually start the game and then the screen is just black but i do have sound. I haven't had time to mess around with it yet but i'll let you know if i figure out why it's like this.

Check the readme file for the game...ur graphic cards arent supported...i think. Seriously, tho check it, it lists what graphic cards arent supported

no you're talking about the mx series. the ti series still keeps up quite well with many of todays cards.

I have the same card as you , and same problem as you. First the card is not supported, that's what it says in the readme file, because our card does not allow pixel shader i think. Remember battlefield 2, same thing there also.

no it says gforce 4 mx series is not supported. the mx series does not have pixel shader support. the ti series does have 1.0 shader support which should be fine to run this game.

oh snap! i just checked the readme and you guys are right. the ti series is not supported.
i can't believe it. i can run far cry , half life and doom and other much better games with most of the graphical features they offer and never have a problem.
this is the first game ever that my card was not supported. i certainly won't upgrade for this game though.

My specs
Athlon XP 3200+
1ghz ram
GeForce 3
My card is supported... but i have no videos at all.

i had the same problem.its related to shaders.what you have to do to solve the problem
its to play with rendering level.
for me level 8 solved the problem but on level 9 and 10 i cant see anything or sometimes i do but all textures are fucked up.my gfx supports shaders 2.0 and level 8 is a max level for it.so if you have shaders 1.0 set it to 8 and go down by 1 till you will solve the problem.but if your gfx doesnt support shaders you will not be able to play this game

there's a bug in the game
im so close to finish it and when i get to some part the game stuck
or it just wont let me through some door
so its sux
dam its a good game i want to finish it!!!
help me if this kinda problem happend to anyone else

i have 1 question how did u guys even get the game started mine says virtual drive detected, and when i hide my virtual drive by using antiblaxx its says important protection........... can not by loaded
help pls

i used daemon tools to instal the game and then to load the game and SR7.stop 1.0 to hide the virtual drive and its working

Yeah, after u applied the patch its updating the Protection aswell. SR7.Stop doesnt work anymore, let´s try to figure out some workaround.

Well thank god for piracy. Shiny Entertainment is on my blacklist from now on (atari already was). This blatant video card 'buy a new one' attitude = lol. They want to enforce the public to upgrade their cards because they are too lazy to fix it so it runs on other cards? Fuck your gay game. /me dels it from his system.
