About Hitman: Movie (2007)
Vin Diesel is a hardcore gamer, and absolutely loves the Hitman series. For that reason I have faith that he wont destroy the movie.

Response: Well, Uwe Boll probably loved the Alone in the Dark games.

There is no fucking problem
Griff is just being a jack ass again.

The severe black out that happened LONG ago was caused by our own stupidity.
It was in the summer, each household had at least 2-3 ac's runnin and so the whole grid blew causing a power surge. Took four days to fix. Rolling Eyes

And of course his stupid statement about how power goes off every lighting storm, every rain fall is totally absurd. It hasn't happened in ages. I think that griff lives in a shitty apartment complex that has faulty generators and every storm they overheat and cause a temporary blackout Shocked

are you serious? do you think you could live without electricity? you know there's more than just the pc that needs power. a civilised town without electricity for lets say one week, would result in total chaos.

Huh? Canadian here that has never had power issues. Dont really know where this is coming from. And fyi there is one of the biggest most advanced power stations being built in Alberta right now. Soooo are you talking about the grid failure last year? That effected the only the east coast? Or the freezing rain like 2 years ago. That again effected only the east coast.

Happens every rain, OMG are you sure its just not your little area in the city, or maybe just your house. Happens every rain. Give me a break. You actually think where you live blacks out every time it rains? I think the city engineers would be on that shit like pronto, becasue electricity to your home is peanuts in the big picture. Business would be lossing millions and millions of dollars, and i assume you live in or near TO. The east coast is a huge manufactuing area in Canada.

So i should call you something like you have called everyone else in this thread, why dont you do some fucking research before spouting off piles of bull shit. Man your arogence pisses me off.

Did you know that your grid in the east coast also supplies parts of the USA?

Good point dude...the grid that griff (and me and max and anyone in ontario pretty much) is fueled by the hydro station at niagra falls - which supplies alot of the northern us states.

Griff, phone ontario hydro and ask them if ur near a bad transformer or if ur near one that is prone to being hit by lighting...my fuckin cell phone always dies during electrical storms because one of the main Telus stations is somewhere along the 400 and in open field and is prone to lightning strikes...fuckin pisses me right off, mind u, it will take a lil bit of work to find that out...many callbacks and emails..with telus anyway.
But, I assume Ont Hyrdo is just as retarded. My mother worked there for about 20 years and back in the day (60's, 70's and 80's) they used to have enough problems, i can only imagine what kinda problems they get now...

Truth be told, the entire power grid on the eastern seaboard needs to be replaced and updated with modern wiring and shit.
See, as much as Canadian's and American's say they dislike one another or whatever, we really do need each other and, in core areas, are one in the same. Trade and Energy...right there, both countries provide each other which valuable resources and self sustaining shit...not to mention in Ontario alone, we produce alot of the energy that New York and Detroit require on a daily basis (through Niagra and the Pickering Nuclear Plant...great baseball fields by the coal plant in sauga too, awesome dirt and lush grass, was my favourite baseball park).

Funnier thing is apparently is was caused by not trimming trees Shocked

Quote:
On November 19, 2003, the U.S.-Canada Power System Outage Task Force released an interim report placing the cause of the blackout on FirstEnergy Corporation's failure to trim trees in part of its Ohio service area. The report said that a generating plant in the Cleveland, Ohio, area went off-line amid high electrical demand, and strained high-voltage power lines later went out of service when they came in contact with "overgrown trees". It also found that FirstEnergy did not take remedial action or warn other control centers until it was too late because of a bug in the Unix-based General Electric Energy's XA/21 system [2] that prevented alarms from showing on their control system [3], and they had inadequate staff to detect and correct the software bug. The cascading effect that resulted ultimately forced the shutdown of more than 100 power plants. [4]
