Hi. I've downloaded at least 10 movies in nts format with pulldown. It's driving me crazy when i can't find anything about this in nfo file. It says only about NTSC and nothing about pulldown. It's quite hard to add subtitles to this release without making new synchro (it takes hours). PLs include info about pulldown in nfo file. It will make us fell better cause i will if i can download this release or not. Thx. I also thing that many users will agree with me. But if u have guide with adding subtitles to NTSC pulldown format pls let me now. Smile

When u have dvd in NTSC format u have 29,97 fps or pulldown. For 29.97 u can make PERFECT SYNCHRO but for pulldown u cannot cause every frame is moved. If u want to know more about this pls use google sometimes.

You'll find 99% of NTSC DVD films have pulldown on them as 23.976 is prtty much the standard framerate for NTSC films so they can fit more data on the DVD. The last DVD I downloaded that didn't have pulldown on it was March of The Penguins but other than that I can't think of any films that don't have it, so I don't see much point in groups stating if it uses pulldown or not. You could always read the xvid nfo's if you want to know if it has pulldown on it or not before you download the DVD as they usually state framerates.

cant be that hard? even vobsub has a function to change the bitrate of the subfiles.

cant you find anything on doom9.org?

anyway, europe rules, no pulldown

btw: peppy

when you change fps from 30 to 24, you save 1/5 of data, so you can have a higher bitrate.
