I`ve installed the game, patched it, than applied the crack.
When I try to run this game only thing that pops up is black screen.
I can`t exit it other way than restarting my pc.
I`ve got winxp sp2, 6800gt and amd 64 3000+
What should I do to run this gr8 game, plz help

I have experienced the same problem... Allow mafia.exe (or whatever it is called) to access the internet and if doesn't work just play around with alt+tab and return keys a few times until the game screen pops up.
By the way this game is really crap, especially after having played GTA SA. Cars handling is really bad, sounds are annoying, cutscenes are boring, missions suck and it is no fun roaming around at all. You shouldn't even bother running this game.

btw I love this game 
I`ve run it. All I needed was INDEO video codec
